Shade Matching & Product Policy

At BEBI, we understand that choosing the right shade, especially for the under-eye area, can feel personal.

Base Love is designed to be a flexible, buildable colour corrector that works alongside your concealer to neutralise the appearance of darkness and brighten the under-eye area. Shade selection can vary depending on your skin tone, undertone, the colour and depth of your under-eye discolouration, and the level of correction you prefer.

Our Shade Match Quiz is designed to help guide you towards the Base Love shade we believe is best suited to you based on the answers you provide.

Your result is determined by the information you submit, including factors such as your skin tone and under-eye discolouration. Please answer each question as accurately as possible to receive the most appropriate recommendation.

While the quiz has been carefully designed to help you select your shade, shade recommendations are provided as guidance and cannot guarantee an exact or perfect match.

Everyone's colouring is unique, and individual results can vary depending on factors including skin tone, undertone, the colour and depth of under-eye discolouration, application and personal preference.

Purchases made following a Shade Match Quiz recommendation remain subject to our standard Returns Policy.

Personal Shade Guidance

We're always happy to help guide you towards the most suitable shade.

If you reach out to us with a photo, we will provide our best recommendation based on the information and image provided, alongside our experience and understanding of the product.

For the most accurate recommendation possible, we recommend sending a clear photo:

  • Taken in natural daylight
  • Without a filter or editing
  • Without makeup or concealer around the eye area

Please remember that shade matching is not an exact science. Lighting, camera settings and screens can affect how colours appear in photographs, so recommendations provided by our team are offered as guidance rather than a guarantee of an exact match.

Results can also vary depending on:

  • Skin tone and undertone
  • The colour and depth of your under-eye discolouration
  • Lighting
  • How much product is applied
  • Your preferred level of correction
  • The concealer or complexion products you pair it with

Understanding Colour Correction

Colour corrector works differently from foundation or concealer.

The most suitable Base Love shade is determined not only by your overall skin tone, but also by the colour and depth of the discolouration you are trying to neutralise.

This means your recommended corrector may not look like a traditional skin-tone match when viewed in the packaging or when first applied. Base Love is designed to neutralise unwanted tones before being blended and paired with your usual complexion products.

Product Expectations

Base Love is designed to:

  • Neutralise the appearance of under-eye darkness
  • Brighten when paired with concealer
  • Be applied in light layers and built gradually

It is not designed to:

  • Correct or remove physical hollowness or changes in the natural structure of the under-eye area
  • Remove or conceal skin texture
  • Guarantee complete coverage of all under-eye discolouration
  • Replace concealer where additional coverage is desired

For best results, we recommend starting with a small amount, blending thoroughly and building gradually where additional correction is needed before applying concealer.

Returns & Hygiene

Purchases made following either our Shade Match Quiz or a personal shade recommendation from the BEBI team remain subject to our standard Returns Policy.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on cosmetic products that have been opened, used or have had their seal broken, unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.

If you receive your Base Love and are unsure about the shade, please do not open or break the seal. Contact us first and we'll be happy to help.

Unopened and unused products may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are returned in their original condition and packaging, in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Receiving a recommendation through our Shade Match Quiz or directly from our team does not guarantee an exact shade match and does not change our standard Returns Policy.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
