Base Love is designed to be a flexible, buildable colour corrector that works alongside your concealer to neutralise darkness and brighten the complexion. Because of this, shade selection can vary depending on your skin tone, undertone, and the level of correction you prefer.
Shade Guidance
We’re always happy to help guide you towards the most suitable shade.
If you reach out to us with a photo, we will provide a recommendation based on our experience and understanding of the product.
However, please note:
Shade matching is not an exact science.
Results can vary depending on:
- Skin tone and undertone
- Lighting (natural vs artificial)
- How much product is used
- Your preferred finish (subtle vs full correction)
- The concealer you pair it with
For this reason, our recommendations are offered as guidance only, and final shade preference remains personal to you.
Product Expectations
Base Love is designed to:
- Neutralise under-eye darkness
- Brighten when paired with concealer
- Be applied in light layers and built gradually
It is not designed to:
- Fully cover hollowness or texture under the eye
- Replace concealer entirely
For best results, we always recommend using a small amount and blending seamlessly before applying concealer on top.
Returns & Hygiene
Due to the nature of cosmetic products and hygiene standards, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds on any products that have been opened or used.
This applies to all purchases, including those made following a shade recommendation from our team.
